Jordyn grew up surrounded by the entertainment industry and found her niche in on set production while working for a production company in London, UK. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Production. Since then, Jordyn has worked on set for companies such as HBO, Lionsgate, Warner Bros, MarVista Entertainment, Hulu, and Lifetime TV. She has also worked as an Assistant Director for multiple feature length films. Jordyn has on set experience in camera work, set design, assistant directing and promotional marketing for feature films such as Hacksaw Ridge. Although she enjoys working on and off set in these capacities, Jordyn's true passion is creating stories that leave a lasting impact on an audience while cultivating a culture on set that inspires all creatives involved in the process.

 

Outside of her work on production, Jordyn has taken multiple scripts from concept through the writing process. She is currently in development for a female led feature film based on true events that she is also set to direct. Jordyn's passion for storytelling and desire to use the gift of cinema to create narratives that challenge a viewer's thinking and inspire an audience is what led her to the world of directing. Her familiarity with development, writing, on set production, and promotional marketing give her a well-rounded vision for bringing the Huxford's story to the big screen.
